On June 1-3, "World Soy - Feeds", the now annual conference was held in St. Petersburg, dedicated to the production and processing of soybeans in Russia and in the world. The General Director of "TARGET AGRO" LLC, Evgeny Trofimov, also took part in this conference.

This year, the conference was attended by participants from different parts of the world - Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, USA, Canada, China and Europe. The conference discussed general trends in the development of the soybean industry in the world, prospects for the coming years and the distant future, problems in cultivation and processing.

Presentations were made by both scientists and representatives of large businesses in the soybean industry - the Executive Director of the Group of Companies "Sodruzhestvo" , the General Director of Trade House "Belagro" LLC, Robert Metz, the head of the American Soybean Association, and many others.

Almost all conference participants agreed that soybeans are a very promising product that has not yet fully realized its potential and that soybean production in the world will only grow every year. This will happen both by increasing the sown area and by increasing yields. This growth is facilitated by the demand and increased consumption of soybeans in the production of feeds for farm animals, as well as the consumption of soybeans for food.

The outcome of the conference for "TARGET AGRO" company were new partnerships, a review and discussion of the market, as well as a planned strategy for the further development of company's activities in the soybean area.
